EOS Max Pure Grey lens review
I've been uploading really slow lately. The pressure is on for Guyana and I'm barely managing to get by... to distract myself from my frustrations I'm making a little break to get into the recent events of the last month or so xD
A little while ago I had posted my review for these lenses up to my Youtube channel. Now for the detailed blog report~
I had gotten these lenses through Kiwiberry1-collection last summer for my Michiko to Hatchin cosplay. If you've been following me since then, you probably remember my rant against whatever lens store I had a problem with before.. xD
Unfortunately these didn't make it on time for my cosplay at Otakon but hopefully they'll last until NYCC, if I decide to attempt Michiko again with my friend.
Anyways, the reason why I chose these lenses was because of the err.. "paradoxical boldness". The design itself is a very subtle kind of grey, and it sort of 'melts' away towards the center. At the same time, it does have the dark ring that gives most circle lenses that 'pop', but even then, the tone of the greys make it look 'well-blended'.
I found these to be perfect to try and portray Michiko Malandro, who have these really doe-like eyes that sometimes make her look somewhat innocent and naive, and at other times sultry and full of her sassy personality.
An old photo from last December. You can definitely see the similarity, not only in design, but capturing the actual personality of the character, depending on the style of eyemake.
More recent photos.
In case you're wondering about my lash game that day~
My usual Angel Diamond lash (inner-center) paired with some other generic lash, but then the bottoms are half of the 'Shiny Eye' Fairy Lash (center) with halves of LOLdisintegrating 'Princess' Diamond lashes. I customed the Princess lash to look a certain way since they were literally falling apart on me.
Shot in a darker setting.
Design-wise, I give a 10/10. They met my expectations 100% according to what I was looking for above~
Enlargement-wise, I also give a 10/10. FYI these are a 14.5mm size, and with the design it doesn't have a super-enlarging effect. For those who would like to wear this with no makeup, these will look really good and won't make you look freakishly soulless.
As far as Comfort though, I'd give an 8/10. In the beginning I had issues with these sitting well in my eye, mainly feelings of dryness and discomfort. Eventually I guess whatever caused that finally got soaked off, but once in a while I get issues of discomfort with these. I'd say rather than the general 8 hours or so, these usually last maybe 5-6 hours before I need to grab some saline.
You see I'm trying to finally catch up on all my posts~ I have another review or two on the way and then I should be posting my next giveaway today or tomorrow so stay tuned!

Epic Haul~ FromJapan + TaobaoSpree
Now, I know some going-out posts are due, speaking that I haven't updated on my life since Easter... but I just had to share this huge haul of junk I just got in the mail this weekend xD
Now, I made my review from FromJapan previously in this post, I was relieved to find that despite the amount of clothing I bought the shipping was a bit cheaper to my last 3 mag + 1 jsk order. Book's weight are a b, for real. (Or maybe it has to do with all the individual shipping.. I don't know). I also prepared myself time-wise so I wouldn't be caught struggling paying for it and then living on with short cash for however long.
I managed to buy all of these goods from a single secondhand shop site. Including my most wanted item...
I've wanted this D.I.A. hooded one-piece (or something similar in that color!) for a LONG time after seeing someone like Yumachi or Mipochi or someone rock that color. When my friend Shaka showed me the site it was at like 3990 yen at first, which I was kind of reluctant on since I'm super cheap, but then it went on sale for -990- yen. I could not resist myself. I heard the angels of heaven prompting me to get this onepiece and I just had to.
Everything else was very cheap too. Amazing amazing amazing.
These two are my next two favorite buys out of this package. The vest I believe is real suede leather * w* it just feels so smooth in my hands and it's not thin or cheap or flimsy or anything, ahhhh
And the chiffon top... is the softest, most fluid top I've ever seen. It's not some crappy sheer material either, it's actually layered with lining and everything, but yet it flows so well and it's so light ; w;
I am selling the red DreamV top though, and the fuchsia hoodie because eh, they were more impulses and the hoodie doesn't quite fit me. The hoodie is from a brand called "Passion Girl" and a size M. I'll update my sales page later!
~~~~~~
Now as far as TaobaoSpree, it's been a while since I directly bought from them. My first agent Lucy had since left the company, so now Candy is my new TBS agent. After dealing with other people like Doris who was a major derp :/ Candy is just as reliable as Lucy was and I'm so sticking to her for a long while. She is well-spoken, she replies quickly, AND sometimes on weekends when TBS is supposed to be closed. One of TaobaoSpree's best agents I have dealt with so far.
Originally I was going to order through Taobao English, aka chinabuyagency.com, but I was turned off by their tendency to tell people things were 'sold out', when in fact they were made-to-order or reserved items. Apparently some things were missing out of my friend's group order that she did so I ended up not going through them, and I'm glad I did. Some of the things that were supposedly 'sold out' Candy was able to order, or she was able to actually TELL ME the waiting period of the items and things like that. When I tried to ask Taobao English, they just told me it was 'sold out' when I questioned the fact that so many of my wanted items were sold out without the page saying so.
In any case I was able to get most of what I wanted, which I was very satisfied with - u- Even more so that it all came in time for the start of hanami season! Imagine all the spring-y fun photoshoots that are gonna come out of this~
These two I actually got through my friend's group order~
And then the rest were from TaobaoSpree..
I finally got myself a Candy Sugar schoolbag, from one of the many taobaos that sells the merch from the same factory. This is actually their smaller shoulder bag, unlike the full-size bag like my friend Mei used to have, so I was kind of sad, but that's because the full-size were sold out. At some point I'll get the full-size bag... someday... x3
Just look at that...
Some Deary/Yumentebo goods I managed to snatch up. They're both really cute ; w; I'm glad I was able to snatch them up, especially for the price I got them for!
Princess Melody (?) fuzzy hooded cape~
MA*RS (?) top
This came from the same shop as the two above, I do plan to make an -actual- store review of that Taobao store! Mainly because I believe that their things are from the actual factory that makes the actual MA*RS/Princess Melody items, so either unmarked and same-factory, or factory rejects. I'll explain why later.
More school things! I've been wanting to buy school stuff for almost two years now, and I finally got along to doing it xD I got them from angelpaopao.taobao.com I believe. The quality is really good and I definitely plan to order more things through them again!
Galaxy Shirt.
These boots... these are actually OTK boots that I've seen on ebay for the longest time and I finally got my hands on them! In my size! In the past when I saw them on ebay they never had them in my size, PLUS the sellers were trying to sell them for maybe 30 bucks. The store I got them from only sold them for around 9-10 dollars. I was able to custom-size them to my US 10 foot, I forget if there was any extra cost, but I don't think so. You don't know how happy I got these. Especially a black pair AND a brown pair. The 'chestnut'ish color has been in style since the beginning of this year and now I don't have to look for a pair of brown OTKs locally.
As far as support and stuff it's kind of hard because of my messed-up joints, but they are like 2 inch heels so it helps a great deal. I can't wait to wear them out!
A couple of these stores I really want to do specific reviews on, but that won't come until I buy a couple of more things from them. But I loooove everything.
Now the only problem is.... finding a place to put them. My drawers are completely full.
FromJapan Shopping Service Review!
Sometime when I got back from my mission trip, I decided to make the first Japanese purchase in a long while, and right now I just want to share with you guys my experience with one of my new shopping services.
So my first order I decided to bid on a very cute item on mbok~ a Baby, the Stars Shine Bright jumperskirt set from the Osaka BTSSB store!
lololo I hope that didn't sound too complicated... you can read more on their system on their website, here.
So overall, my experience!
Communication: 10/10. They're pretty good with keeping in contact and answering your questions~ They usually answer within 24 hours, with the exceptions of I think maybe weekends? But either way every question they answered promptly, they were very well-spoken and courteous. Their system will send you automatic confirmations of your deposit actions, refunds, changes in bids/purchases, when they arrive at their warehouse, etc. I highly doubt there will ever be a time you'll really question where your things are at.
Pricing: 7/10. While their system seems pretty complicated at first, it's not really something I try to worry my head over. You just pay the 200 commission fee, the item cost, and if there's a system usage fee, then that, and then unless you need your items in a rush, you don't worry about the Charge 2/Shipping payments until like a month later.
The only thing that bothers me though, is how they deal with Charge 2 payment. I may be spoiled from personal shopping services hoarding my goods for months at a time, but when the Charge 2 payment is requested, they only give you -a week- to pay for it. Otherwise they will supposedly 'drop your order' entirely and probably not give you a refund in the process. I'm bothered when shopping services act like that, because first off, the item is FULLY PAID FOR, -AND- you've already paid their commission fee! I don't think it's fair at all to threaten to drop people's orders because they're not able to pay for shipping within 7 days... at least give them an option for a down payment or something.
With this particular order, it was a hassle for me after giving them the money because I didn't expect shipping to be that much, and I was sort of struggling afterwards, it being around bill-time and whatnot. But as long as you mark your calendar and prepare yourself to pay for the Charge2 payment, you should be good. That's pretty much how I'm dealing with it this time around.
Shipping: 10/10. The moment you pay for your shipping, it's on it's way out the door. You should get a confirmation within 24 hours with tracking number, and from there it's on it's way! They also give you the option of SAL, Airmail, and Surface, and Fed-Ex if you don't want to pay for EMS. Packaging-wise, my stuff came in a decent-sized box.. everything was wrapped in plastic, and cushioned with newspaper.
That's pretty much it! Aside from my personal feelings concerning the Charge2 payment, I really like this shopping service, and I'm currently using them for yet -another- order, full of cute gal stuff xD So expect a haul post from FromJapan within the next month huehuehue...
From Japan -- (http://www.fromjapan.co.jp) apparently started in 2004, though I never heard about it until a few months ago! They are an established, registered business, not a personal shopping service, e.x. old services like Mai Ozawa and Mukunoki and people. So while they don't do any in-store visits, they work with online shops and auction sites. Rakuten, mbok.jp, Yahoo! Japan Auctions, and many more sites...
What initially attracted this service to me and my friends were their cheap service fees. Very cheap.
Each item I've ever bidded on only costed a 200 yen fee per item-- I think for more expensive items it -might- cost more, but no more than like 800 yen. Depending on the cost of the items you buy, that's much cheaper than the typical 15-20% commission fee. Now that the yen's value vs. the U.S. Dollar has dropped (Thank God), it feels better to buy and bid to my heart's content (and according to what I have in my wallet, of course).
They have other fees that may rack up (5% processing fee when you try to pull money from your Paypal, etc.) but again, to me that's nothing.
It's sooo adorable. I've been wanting to get plaid for the longest time and when I saw this for only 5,000 yen, I swooped in and got it. The fabric is lightweight but perfect for spring and fall, and nice and soft. I found that the overall-part was detachable, so I could alternate between an overall JSK and a skirt, and it also came with matching hair ties! You know I was happy as hell!
The fees might've been around 900-1000 yen, both for their commission fee, and then they also had a system usage fee for bidding on mbok.
And I also got three old issues of 小悪魔Ageha~ November and December 2007, and December 2006. If you don't know me by now, I am a serious fiend for Ageha magazine and I have a pretty huge collection so far~ so I decided to start collecting a lot of the -old- issues from before I got into gal, and the back issues I had missed over the years. I managed to get each mag off Y!J for 50 yen each, so after fees they were like 250 each~ and two from the same seller so I believe I saved on shipping because of that o:
~~~~~
FJ charges for everything in two payments-- Payment 1 is for the cost of the item + the 'system usage' fee which applies to sites other than Y!J, I believe?... and then there's payment 2, which is for all the shipping fees,domestic and international, and bank transfer fees..
So this is how everything was calculated for the BTSSB JSK, as an example..
Product 1
Item name : BTSSB plaid jsk AuctionID / OrderID: 548981V
Charge1
Payment option: Deposit (as in, their system where you have to deposit money onto their site to bid and buy.)
① Final winning price: 5,500 Yen (this was incorrect, they later refunded me 500 yen realizing that error~)
② Commission fee: 200 円
③ Used Point(s): 0 Point (you gain points to spend, from surveys, their fb promo events, referral system, bidding, etc)
④ System usage fee ( ( ① + ② - ③ ) × 5% ): 285 Yen
Charge1 Total ( ① + ② - ③ + ④ ): 5,985 Yen
~~~~~~~~~
( The fees below will be charged at charge 2 payment )
⑤ Domestic delivery charge: 390 Yen
⑥ Bank transfer fee: 178 Yen
⑦ Pending system usage fee of Charge1: 0 Yen
⑧ Excess charge: 0 Yen
⑨ Tax: 0 Yen
And then for the actual international shipping charges for everything...
Charge2
Payment option: PayPal
① Domestic delivery charge: 830 Yen
② Bank transfer fee: 514 Yen
③ Pending system usage fee of Charge1: 0 Yen
④ Excess charge: 0 Yen
⑤ Tax ( Charge1 ): 0 Yen
⑥ Surcharge: 0 Yen
⑦ Oversea shipping: 5,400 Yen
⑧ Insurance options: Not insured
⑨ Total ( ① ~ ⑧ ): 6,744 Yen
⑩ Used Point(s): 40 Points
⑪ System usage fee ( ( ⑨ - ⑩ ) × 5% ): 335 Yen
Charge2 Total ( ⑨ - ⑩ + ⑪ ): 7,039 Yen
lololo I hope that didn't sound too complicated... you can read more on their system on their website, here.
KumaCrafts purchase...
Last month I caved in when I shouldn't have, and purchased a henshin necklace from KumaCrafts. They're a much-talked about shop that sells laser-cut jewelry and stuff. Their most popular items are Sailor Moon jewelry, like the sailor scouts' henshin and compact necklaces...
I was craving a Sailor Venus one for the longest time, since she's one of my senshi other than Sailor Moon, so I succumbed and bought one!
But when I received it, I wasn't really satisfied with the product... at all. The moment I wanted to return it, I found that KumaCrafts didn't accept any returns except for damaged products... like really?
This is the stock photo for the Venus henshin necklace...
and these are my photos:
Granted, one thing I'll blame myself for was the fact that I didn't really pay attention to the actual measurements of the product. It is so tiny! I expected it to be a little bigger but didn't think about actually making that measurement and figuring out if I wanted it or not..
Even with the size, I would've accepted it, had I not felt that the store pictures just serve to flatter the product extremely well, compared to how it looks in real life...
From the way the stock photo looked, it made it seem like the details on the gold layer of the necklace were engraved, and had some sort of 'dimension' to it.. but it's not at all, if anything, it's etched (it's hard for me to tell because I suck). From head-on, the details of the gold parts are barely noticeable-- it's only from certain sides that it looks like it has the detail like in the photos.
It's unfortunate because some of my friends who bought the Sailor Moon ones were just as disappointed with their own buys... I had one or two question me when I complained about it, trying to tell me that the whole laser-cut process is pretty expensive, but honestly? I would rather pay -more- for a bigger, better looking product, than the money I spent on this small thing :c
I'd say it was a waste of $28... but luckily one of my friends bought it off of me. I don't know if I'd really order from KumaCrafts after that, unless they step it up a notch..
Eh.
Vassen Diamond 3-Tones Review! (Gray)
Finally posting my review on the Vassen Diamond 3-Tones in Gray!
I wanted to wait until I caught up on my past posts but... I'm taking way too long so here you go xD
So these lenses are really pretty, I like them a lot because they remind me too much of my beloved EOS Diamond grays, so right now these are my most worn lenses. But even then, I did come a little bit disappointed because of the design.
I bought these from LoveShoppingHolics.com, their customer service and shipping was excellent, by the way, especially with all the free gifties I got from them~
I got em because of the preview image that was popping up everywhere, which made the lenses look like shards of glass (I guess that doesn't sound too appealing when talking about your eye xD
I mean, look at them. They look so damn glittery and shkdbasjshasvd I just had to have them!
But unfortunately, when I actually got them and tried them on, they just... weren't the same. I don't know what it is, because I have brown eyes like the girl sporting them in this image, but it's just not the same. I expected them to be crazier than the EOS Diamonds, but in terms of the 'sparkle' effect, they're basically the same, if not a tiny bit more, but it's not to the extent of this photo. Maybe it's the reflection in her eyes that makes them look more beautiful? I don't know... Even when I'm in bright light, the 'shards' look less like shards and just like blocks of color/debris on my eye. So all you'll really see are blotches of black, gray, and brown over my eyes. Maybe I just need to get used to the design itself...
Besides the design, the comfort is pretty damn good. If you know me, I don't like straying away from EOS brand lenses too much, especially in light of some of the drama concerning Dueba lenses. But I wanted to try these, especially after seeing my girl Chantal try them and enjoy them. Man, Vassen are just as comfortable as EOS. They're officially my second-favorite lens line to look after. The other night I wore them for the Kawaii International recording (I'll get to that post soon, hopefully) and it ended up being over 12 hours before I could take them out x_x but the entire time they were comfortable. Hardly felt them on my eye at all, and even when I took them out, my eye wasn't ridiculously irritated as usual from wearing lenses in for so long. Instant fan.
So let me give you the rundown!
Design: 7.5-8, because I feel they weren't as accurate to the photo as I had hoped. But as a Diamonds groupie, I definitely enjoy them regardless.
Size: 10/10. These are 14.5 mm, and they look accurate to their size~
Comfort: 10/10. They're pretty damn comfortable.
Would I get them in another color? Maaaaaybe, poooooossibly in blue or lilac. But I'd probably play it safe by getting them in EOS Diamonds first before trying this design in non-neutral colors
LoveShoppingHolics Store Review!
know I touched on it before, but I wanted to make a detailed written review on my experience with loveshoppingholics~ ♥
I've known about LoveShoppingholics (formerly just Shoppingholics) for a long time, knowing them as reputable circle lens sellers. One thing that often had me stray away from shops and stick with group orders is the prices, the often 'mix-up' of branding (some stores trying to tell me "Barbie Eye, Dueba and EOS is all the same, which to my knowledge isn't true), and even more often, the lack of actual prescribed lenses. My eyes are a (-2.00/-2.15) which isn't that strong, but for one reason or another it was always a hassle to find lenses I wanted in my prescription, and for a reasonable price in general. Some people may settle for lenses and wearing it with their glasses, but personally I think that makes no sense e__e
But I was pretty pleased with Loveshoppingholics's selection~ and I finally gave in to ordering through them when a friend of mine wanted to buy lenses during their sale period in November or December. They had both a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale, plus a free shipping promotion so we ended up diving right in.
My video review~
The shop's layout is simple enough to understand~ though for a minute I was confused between the Vassen tag and the 'Vassen (Hana SPC)' one (someone tell me the difference?). The lenses are decently priced for the most part, their cosmetics a bit meh in price~ my friend ended up getting the Big Grang Grang Choco lens I believe, meanwhile I went for the much-desired Vassen Diamond 3-tones in gray, the free lenses which ended up being the old EOS Adult grays, and then a Daiso bump-it to make the minimum for the free shipping.
Checkout was quick with no difficulty~ and the order was processed and shipped within 2-4 days. Just how I like it - u-
Shipping is always very important to me when it comes to businesses-- if you don't remember my frustration with KoreaBigEyes last summer, they never shipped out my order or responded to me for 1 1/2 weeks about shipment, but were very quick to just send me a refund, jacking up my plans as far as my Michiko cosplay for Otakon :/ I pretty much went off about that. I was really pissed. I can't give my money to a business that starts acting like that.
But fortunately Loveshoppingholics was very quick, and I'm glad for it.
The free shipping I believe was regular airmail with tracking~ usually this takes maybe about 2 weeks, but it actually ended up being a little bit longer due to the holiday season-- my package stopped 'moving' once it got into the states, which to me is retarded. I'm like 2 hours away from the Customs port in JFK, they couldn't just give me my package? I ended up getting my package on Christmas Eve.
I don't have any pictures, but the store did a good job in securing my stuff.... it all came in an bubblewrap-lined parcel envelope, and inside of that a nice little gift bag.
The lenses themselves were wrapped IN their boxes with giftwrap~ one box was lined with the giftwrap, the other box was wrapped with bubblewrap on the outside, I believe~ and then the free lenses didn't come in a box, but were securely wrapped as well. The two purchased lenses came with animal lenses while the free lense came with a regular lens case.
My friend's GEO Big Grang Grand Choco lens
Vassen Diamond 3-tones
EOS Adult Grays, the old model
The Daiso bumpit I bought. Still haven't found a proper way to use this yet...
Loveshoppingholics gave free little samples and stuff... an eye mask and one of those velcro things to help hold your hair back when you're taking care of your face.
They also gave a little thank you letter for my business with them, along with an instructional on doing reviews for them. It may not be much effort but I do love when stores send little things like this. Makes the buyer feel extra-good about their purchase.♥
They obviously don't have to tell me about making reviews though xDDD I
I take that initiative because I have no life~
MintyMix split wig VIDEO review
Right now I'm sitting here waiting for this Hurricane Sandy to supposedly wreak havoc in my area... the winds are slowly picking up, though the worst is supposed to be around the afternoon. Ugh.
My power's been flickering in and out, so I tried to just upload this review that I finally put together! It's just a review on my Mintymix Deep Pink x Black split wavy wig. Like I said before, I wanted to start doing this so other darker skinned girls would be able to sort of get an idea of how unnatural colored wigs look on them. Hopefully soon I'll be making another one in the coming weeks~
I'm hoping my power won't get cut, but in the case that it does, I guess I will talk to people later e_e ugh
EOS Crystal Diamond Greys review
(The lenses in indirect sunlight)
Finally got around to posting my circle lens review on Youtube~
These are by far my favorite lenses besides the Max Candydoll/King browns. They're pretty much the only two lenses I wear now, I seriously haven't touched my green lenses and stuff in so long, since the first week I got them xD
What I like best is that these lenses look big, but they sort of 'settle' in with the rest of my face. Despite the design, I feel like I can wear these suckers without any makeup, compared to like, Candydoll Greens and whatnot.
Anyways, just to do a general rundown here...
Comfort: 10/10, as always, EOS lenses never fail when it comes to comfort. Enough said xD
Enlargement: 10/10-- these are a 14.5 and they -feel- like a 14.5. I really can't go anymore dolly without these.
Color/Design: 9/10 - I had to think about it for a moment, because honestly? I am very VERY satisfied with these lenses. But comparing them to other grey lenses, you barely see the grey all that much besides in flash and direct sunlight. At least on my brown eyes. If I was seeing another girl wear them I'd automatically assume they were Diamond Blacks. But again, I LOVE how they came out on me. Though now I'm thinking of buying the black ones just to see the real difference.. :P
In regular room light~
The video itself for your viewing pleasure~
Until my next post~
Circlelensaddiction Review!
Basically, I suck at blogging lol.
I realized I'm still about a month behind on photo posts and stuff from past events. Blahhhh
But in the meantime? I'll just share with you my review on my most recent circle lens order.
So like I've noted previously, I ordered 5 pairs of circle lens from Circlelensaddiction.
Shara, the girl who runs group orders for EOS lenses, had a promotion where basically if you ordered 5 or more pairs, they'd be $11 each.
Of course, me looking at "$11", I was like fuuuuuuck yes!!! I ordered a pair of Crystal Diamonds in grey, and another pair in green, I bought King/Candydolls in green and a pair in brown, and then I bought a pair of Adult reds. I -did- have a deadline for the lenses, mainly for the Adults since I was going to wear them for the Fran cosplay I ended up not doing for New York Comic Con (next year I promise!), but after a while when I knew that I wasn't gonna be able to pull off the project in time, I stopped being worried for time.
Overall, the time span of this order ended up being almost 4 months long. I ordered back in July, where the order was supposed to close around the 16th or so. That ended up not happening because EOS apparently ended up having a week-or-two long holiday vacation, so it got bumped to July 30th or so.
Because of people not paying on time, the order didn't get sent and paid for until the first week of August, and from then on it was just a bunch of patiently waiting.
As tedious as it sounds, it actually wasn't bad at all, and I didn't bother to mind after a while because of the price I paid for my lenses. 5 pairs of EOS lenses for $55 total compared to the 110+ I would paid in a regular online circle lens store? pffftttttt
Even though it took months for EOS to get back to us and send us the stuff, Shara definitely kept in contact with us, giving us updates whenever possible, answering questions within a decent amount of time, etc. When the lenses finally got shipped and sent to her, she was very quick to send them out, and basically sent them out the very same day. Shipping costs weren't bad at all either. I don't know if Royal Mail has like, 'priority' shipping like we do, but basically it was sent as 'registered mail' or whatever, with tracking and signature attached and stuff, which came out to like $7.50. It came within a week, and the items were packaged pretty well. All the lenses were wrapped up in bubble tape in a small envelope. I also got a case for each pair as well, which weren't bubblewrapped, but that wasn't a problem.
^da review video^
All in all?
Communication: 5/5
Packaging/Handling: 5/5
Shipping: 5/5
Would I order through Shara again? Hell yes.
In fact, right now she's doing a similar promotion, ending on Sundaaay I believe:
1-2 pairs of lenses - $16 each pair
Up to 4 pairs - $12 per pair
5+ - $10 per pair
If you're in no rush, definitely hop on it.
Actual lens reviews to come soon, once I get a bit of time during the day to record. ♥
EOS King Green review~ + new lens purchases + Another Giveaway
FINALLY recorded this review, I don't know why it took so damn long, especially since these are my favorite lenses (laziness).
TL;DW:
EOS King/ Candydoll (G-202) in Green
Design: 10/10 (color is vibrant, unlike say, GEO Nudys the natural eye color does not show through the lens, black ring gives a nice pop but one of the more toned down dolly eye looks)
Comfort: 10/10 (can stay in my eye for more than 8 hours without feeling uncomfortable, can't feel them at all)
Enlargement: 10/10 (gives the pop I want and desire~ not too big, not too small, just right~)
Also, just finally ORDERED lenses in a UK Preorder, which I'm praying will get here before September, at latest before New York Comic-Con. At first the pre-order was gonna be done by yesterday the 17th, but now it's being extended to July 30th, because apparently EOS is on a vacation until the 29th or so. So if you want to join~ the website is http://circlelensaddiction.weebly.com .
The lenses I'm gonna get in this batch are:
- G-202 aka King/Candydolls in Green again (because these I have are technically considered 'expired' since last month... oops?) as well as in BROWN
- G-218 aka the Diamond/Crystal Diamonds in Grey and in Green
-The Adult series (J-203) in Red
And hopefully I'll be able to get them all in my prescription!
I decided to work with this girl because honestly? Her prices are the cheapest. Sure, the wait can be 1-2+ months depending on circumstances, but honestly for the price I'll be willing to wait. The only reason why I have expectations for when it arrives is because of my cosplay that I'm hoping to do for New York Comic Con/Anime Fest in the middle of October.
Normally her lenses are $16, but as you buy more she has other promotions, e.x. buy one get 2nd 25% off, buy 2 get %50, and if you buy 5 pairs or more the lenses will be ONLY $11. Isn't that amazing? Plus at the moment the shipping is flat-rate for only $5. So if you wanted to try a bunch of EOS lenses, if you're interested or got friends interested in doing a possible group order to save money, I highly suggest you do so.
Also~ need to note the recent giveaway I entered~
My friend Chantal is giving away a pair of plano Gossip Browns/Candy Hana 3tone Brown on her blog~ and there's nothing long or complicated in order to enter (like most giveaways these days~ LOL). I love Chantal, I've known her from my days on Gaiaonline where she admins the Official Circle Lens Thread. She's extremely helpful and I always go to her when I'm either choosing lenses, or when I've plucked my eye out but don't want to go to the hospital. LOL
Just click the picture to go to her giveaway post~ And Good luck!
edit~ 6/19/2012: a more recent, clearer picture of the lenses~
